Carmilla’s launch their new ‘Portals’ EP… using AR Portals!

The Carmilla’s have worked with our creative team to produce their new ’Portals’ EP - the 'World’s First Augmented Reality Record Release'.

Filmed at the band’s studio in Dublin, the EP includes 4 new songs from the band, performed live and captured in 360, before being converted into a unique Augmented Reality experience.

"At a time when music has been reduced to just an audio file and image, we recognised that 'the virtual world IS the new Album’ for younger fans” said lead singer Molly Vulpyne. “We therefore wished to create a more immersive music experience for our fans, reflecting the band's multi-media interests and the times we’re living in. Hopefully the audience in turn will enjoy being at the centre of this performance!"
